page-header-itzazoo-kids-drawing-game-learn-to-read ItzaZoo is a great kid’s game from a company called Sabi. Your children create drawings within the game and those drawings become interactive pieces of the game-play. For example, a direction might be “feed the monkey a banana.” Your kid first draws the banana and then they are able to drag that object around and pass it to the character on screen who is able to interact with it. The software is based on a very interesting technology that Sabi calls “Living Ink” (you can read all about it here). Anna and I had previously tried out their first game “ItzaBitza” and we had a great time playing it.

This is the sort of game that you can play with your kid and not end up bored out of your skull. Seeing your kid’s drawings become live animated parts of the action is entertaining for both you and your kids.

Currently, ItzaZoo is available for Windows only, but I’ve heard that a Mac version will be released at some point.
