Anna’s favorite sound-machine is the Homedics Soundspa Lullaby. It has been designed specifically for children’s rooms. In addition to the standard noise-maker sounds(rain, ocean, etc) it also has a fewHomedics built in lullabies (Twinkle Twinkle Little Start, Rock-a-bye Baby). The coolest feature has nothing to do with sound. The device actually features interchangeable translucent disks that project various images onto the wall of the room. It comes with jungle, ocean and night-sky themed disks. It’s very amusing to sit with her while the various animals rotate across the ceiling (she has named every single fish, monkey, star that passes by and frequently begs me to lift her up so she can touch a particular octopus as it passes by).

For less than $30 it is a pretty good deal.
